In May of 2013 a former assistant pastor and worship leader of 25 years made the radical decision to put an end to his double life dealing with addictive behavior.

It is the desire of his heart that, through speaking openly about his life during those 25 years, he can help men to see that there is hope and victory over this sin. It is one thing to read about it in a book, but to hear it spoken about face-to-face can be more effective and life-changing.

This issue is sensitive, embarrassing, and shameful. Most men do not want to talk about it or have it exposed. But the things of the dark must be exposed, as Ephesians 5:11-14 tells us:

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says:

“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”
